Diamond core drilling techniques are used when a precise circular penetration is needed. Holes of any size and depth can be achieved through this process, as small as 1/2" to 60" in diameter and from 1/2" to 100" in depth. Coring can be done in slabs and in walls of any angle and even upside down through a ceiling when no access is available. Diamond core drilling can be used for many applications, including but not limited to holes for:

SLAB SAWING

Slab Sawing, Sometimes referred to as flat or road sawing. Sawing the most commonly used diamond cutting method. A slab saw is a walk behind machine with a blade mounted on a spindle. Common slab saw uses include cutting trenches to install plumbing and electrical pipes below grade, expansion joints, decorative sawing, and to remove damaged areas. Saws can range from five to over one hundred horse power to suit any application. Our saws are available in gas, propane and electric.  Cutting depths vary for each saw: maximum depth is twenty one inches.

WALL SAWING

Wall Sawing is a track mounted saw that is used to cut precise dimensions in walls and floors. Typical uses include cutting windows, doors, hvac openings, elevator and stairs openings, and separation cuts for demolition contractors. Our wall saws can cut up to 24" from one side, can be set on any angle, and can cut flush to adjacent surfaces.  Our wall saws are powered either by hydraulic or pneumatics depending on the applications.

CONCRETE BREAKING AND REMOVAL

Watersedge prides itself on being an interior removal specialist. In areas where bobcats and other machines cannot be used, Watersedge utilizes sawing techniques to dice up areas into manageable pieces to be removed by hand. Concrete Breaking is offered when other cutting methods are not practical.  Watersedge utilizes air compressors and jack hammers to break up concrete slabs and walls. Other breaking services are available such as chipping slabs and walls to expose rebar and pipes.
